Principle Duties & Accountabilities
- Liaising with: Project Manager on the day to day activities
- Site Engineer to co-ordinate works on site.
The Role:
- Managing and implementing the safety management system
- Managing sub-contractors, operational staff and personnel on site and supporting the project manager in delivering the project to a superior quality completed on time, on budget and implemented within the required safety, environmental and quality parameters
- Scheduling weekly work programmes & weekly progress reports for review with the project manager
- Ensuring materials & plant are procured in time
- Attending and chairing weekly management team meetings
- Maintaining site records
- Implementing Daily and Weekly programmes together with the issue of programme details to sub-contractors
Requirements:
- Engineering degree/diploma or related discipline or trade qualifications (Carpentry)
- A minimum of 5 years site management experience
- Computer literate in Microsoft office packages
- Good understanding of current health & safety legislation
- Experience in coordinating temporary works on site with the temporary works engineer
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organisation & time management skills are essential
- Demonstrate a high degree of responsiveness
- Conservation experience would be an advantage
- Team management experience is essential
- Experience working with Cloud Server
- Ability to produce a program of works is essential
