The Role:
- Measurement and pricing of tender projects
- Liaise with site management team to ensure completion and procurement of packages in line with programme and budget
- Sub-Contractor management – Procurement to Final account stage
- Preparation of Monthly Cost Reports
- Preparation of Monthly progress applications
- Measuring and valuing site variations
- Attending and updating regular site meetings
- Other duties as assigned
- This role is office/site based
Requirements:
- BSc in Construction Economics/Quantity Surveying
- 3 – 5 years experience in a fast-paced construction environment, preferably contractor background
- Measurement / Take-off experience
Skills:
- Excellent IT skills are a must for this position
- Experience with Buildsoft to generate BOQs etc.
- Proactive approach
- Ability to multi-task and manage many priorities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions within a fast-paced construction environment.
- Commercial awareness
- Excellent analytic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
