Company Environmental Management Policy
Mulcahy Construction Limited are aware of both current legislation and public awareness as regards environmental issues. Our main priority is to minimise environmental effects in all their forms at the site and its environs. This includes not only such effects as air omissions, water discharges, waste, energy consumption, recycling, etc., but also in the protection of employees and the resources and in the minimisation of other disturbances to the project environs.

Our main priority is to minimise environmental effects in all their forms at the site and its environs. This includes not only such effects as air omissions, water discharges, waste, energy consumption, recycling, etc., but also in the protection of employees and the resources and in the minimisation of other disturbances to the project environs.
Mulcahy Construction Limited therefore declare that:
- They shall carry out all works in accordance with the Waste Management Act 1996 and the 2001 Waste Management (Amendment) Act which are the primary legislative instruments that govern the management of waste in Ireland.
- All work shall be carried out to ensure the minimum of disruption, with work being contained within designated working areas.
- They will create construction conditions under which normal activities can continue.
- They will protect and key landscape elements.
- They will conserve any surviving historic landscapes.
- They will protect any features of ecological and architectural importance.
- Ameliorate the impact of intrusive features i.e. reduce visual impact of the construction activities.
